Art 13 from the new European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation).
The data processing controller of personal data is the Pontifical Council for promoting the new Evangelization, based in Via della Conciliazione, 5-00120 Città del Vaticano.
The personal data processed are collected directly from the data controller, who guarantees the confidentiality in the processing of personal data in accordance with the current legislation in place regarding the protection of personal data, who declares to carry out the treatment of personal data according to the principles of correctness, legality, transparency and in compliance with the GDPR, to collect personal information accurately and to the extent necessary, and to use them for the sole purpose of the authorized scope.

Personal data will be processed for the sole scope of the designated purposes and in compliance with current regulations. The processing is necessary for the applicant to participate in the event in question and to ensure the appropriate carrying out of all the related activities.
Only with the explicit consent of the person, personal data may be used by Pontifical Council for promoting the new Evangelization for the following purposes:
a) the participation in the international exhibition "100 CRIBS AT THE VATICAN" where personal data is collected and processed:
b) the electronic submission of information by the Pontifical Council for promoting the new Evangelization relating to events and activities promoted either by itself or by third parties
In connection with the purposes referred to in paragraph a), the provision of personal data is compulsory and any refusal to provide the personal information requested or the incorrect communication of the necessary information will lead to the non-confirmation of participation in, as well as the inability to exhibit their work at, the international exhibition "100 CRIBS AT THE VATICAN”.
The processing of the personal data will be automatized by means of computer and IT tools, with data processing software and data base, for the purposes mentioned above and, in any case, to ensure the security and confidentiality of data and communications tools. The data may also be processed using paper print outs.
The Data Controller will process the personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes. With reference to the personal data as referred above point b), the same will be retained for no more than 5 years. Upon expiry of the aforementioned retention period, personal data will be automatically deleted, or anonymised in a permanent and non-reversible manner.
